Kickapoo Island is located on the Mississippi River in Lincoln county MIssouri at about the 256 mile marker. The Island has been a weekend retreat for families for generations. It is near the town of Elsberry Mo. and across the river from Hamburg Ill. It is on a quiet Slue with an aboudance of Catfish and a easy boat access to the Mississsippi River and its Sandbars.
